After a successful first season, we’re thrilled to announce the 2nd Annual Doors Open Down East — a vibrant weekend celebration of the incredible businesses and experiences that make Down Eastern PEI so special.

From Vernon River to Panmure Island and south, local shops, farms, factories, studios, and unique destinations will open their doors to welcome visitors and residents alike. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase what you do best while inviting people to explore, shop, taste, and experience the heart of our rural communities.

​We’re anticipating even more traffic this year as our Platinum Sponsor, Northumberland Ferries, celebrates an incredible 85 years of service. This milestone marks the connection between Wood Islands, PEI and Caribou, NS and its generational impact on our region. They will be kicking off their birthday festivities during Doors Open Down East with special activations, on board programming, facepainting, music and much more
